April is the 4th month of a #1 year, thus making this April 2008
A 5 month of CHANGE for us all. This month seems to bring forth more strongly the energy of that last lunar eclipse February 20th which will sing its sirens song to us until August 01, 2008 when we have our next eclipse: The message now is to dream it and THEN TO BUILD IT:. Eclipses do not pass away with the phases of the moon but stay until the next Eclipse and we are still hearing that VIRGO voice of check all the details as well as the Piscean energy of dreams and hope Eternal.
We are now in the time of Spring sacred to the powers of Creation of all things.
The theme for Aries is “I AM” and you fill in the blanks, whatever you believe you are surely come to you. So believing that you are SO much more than you know you are is a great idea right now isn’t it. Aries is CARDINAL fire (initiating action energy)
The colors of April are all forms of RED, which is the color of passion, new beginnings; Red carries unbelievable power if you wear it, or even visualize it. Did you know red in a room brings passion and energy to that room? Or to a person?
Stones Sacred to April are Fire Opal, Bloodstone, and Golden citrine
The Ruling planet until the 19th is Mars the God of war and passions who is Still after many months wearing the Energy of Cancer this whole month of April 2008, asking us to Create a new action in our lives from deep inner core connections to our feelings.
When I say feelings, I do not mean hurt feelings, or abandonment or feelings based upon the past or hurt or pain. Feelings (instincts) deep within us bring us to connect with our wise and ancient soul. During this month, all this and more is truly possible if we are Looking inwards and pay attention to how we truly are feeling and asking the hard answers of ourselves. Are we creating our story or just retelling the past?
We are now in between some powerful transits (planets traveling in the sky) as Mars (action) is now back to where it began its retrograde (backwards motion December 2007) Mars (the planet of action in the sign of Cancer) opposes Pluto (transformation) which begins its backward journey (retrograde on April 2nd)
What this means for us all is that we can truly use this time to look deep into the well of knowledge within ourselves and find the strength and power to create our lives anew. This power comes through our feelings, through looking at our security issues, or fears and face them bravely in order to rebuild our new world through instinct and what we KNOW we need to be doing..
Pluto (transformation) retrograde or Backing into Sagittarius out of Capricorn June 13th will give us one last shot at that optimism and STRONG sense of KNOWING in order to build our reality in Capricorn. Pluto moving backwards asks us to see within ourselves our deepest and strongest needs and face them fearlessly so that we can rebuild without the old messages of fear and make our lives as we choose not as we were told they should be.
We begin April and Spring of 2008 with the sun in Passionate and Intense ARIES.
Aries energy is much into the “I AM” mode rather than the “I Believe mode” from last months Pisces energy. With the sun in ARIES we are asked WHO we truly are , and what do we need to accomplish and if we use the energies right now given lots more courage and Determination with that Aries energy.
On the 19th as the sun moves into Stable and secure Taurus notice how the I AM questions calm down and you begin to notice what wonderful tools and ability you HAVE to help you accomplish your goals this energetically wide open month..
The theme for Taurus is “I HAVE” and you have many more tools and much more power than you may believe, so begin now to count your blessings and see what you truly DO have in your life. (Fixed Earth)
The theme for Gemini brings the energy of “I THINK” into the Spring time and rethinking plans is a gift to us all when planets enter Gemini. (Mutable Air)
The energy at the beginning of April shifts dramatically after that first week. On April 2nd Mercury moves from intuitive and softly gentle Pisces to Aries and we are more willing to bravely move forward in our mind and communications.
Venus the energy of love and beauty and what we want in Intuitive Pisces until the New moon on April 5th has us dreaming of what we want. On the New moon on the 5th Venus moves into Passionate Aries giving us further energy and courage to move forward and go for it..
The sun into Taurus on the 19th further increases our need to HAVE, that which is OUR OWN. . Possession or owning things, people, emotions, events, becomes a very strong need for us all. So remember what we possess that lasts forever are not material things, but inner strength, courage, compassion, understanding, learning, love and who we are daily becoming isn’t it? And with Mars (action) in Cancer feelings are strong and people could be much more sensitive than normal.
When energies shift to Taurus the stones also shift to more grounding and Centering stones like Sapphire, and agates and the color of the month shifts to soft pinks and blues. Taurus is an Earth sign which always wants to Build and is Fixed in modality, which means just what it says, hard to move but a great deal of tenacity, strength, and endurance for us all to use no matter what our sun sign is.
Jupiter the energy of faith and trust in The earth Sign of Capricorn creates a GRAND Trine of earth planets and energizes us to build and create our lives as we desire them to be. Saturn moving retrograde in Virgo allowing us to let go a bit of the details completes the trine of Earth energies. All this earth and building energy will enable us all to better use the Fire, Aires planets and to get busy building our projects.
The full moon May 19th with the moon in Scorpio and the Sun in Taurus again echoes the theme of deep inner involvement to find our own personal answers and to look practically at what needs to be eliminated from our lives over this next 2 weeks.
This 5 month of change creates tremendous opportunity for you to realize that all power lies within you. The sky and energies here are here to help you but you get to determine your fate and chart the course of your life. What is the next stop? Only you get to decide that and isn’t that the gift of free will.
