Wow..wow…wow…The energies of the sky support the T square of planets as we have planets in Fire, Earth, and Air as the month begins…We are severely lacking in the water energy until Friday August 13th when Uranus moves backwards and backs up into Pisces meaning that actions will tempt us to be a bit impulsive and we need to slow down a bit And tune into inner voice..
The big astrology news of your lifetime is of course a T SQUARE Of planets in the Earthly sign of Capricorn (Pluto, transformation, regeneration and rebirth) Squaring (Saturn in Libra) Squaring (Uranus and Jupiter in Aries) the question no longer is do we have to change but the question is now WHEN do we shift?
I cannot stress enough for you to go out and to find that which you LOVE, Desire, and which makes your Heart sing this month. This seems a real necessity if you truly want to manifest your destiny here on this planet at this time, and perhaps even if you want to STAY on this planet?
As astrologers we all agree we have not ever seen rougher energy nor have we ever seen such opportunity for us to shift emotionally, physically, and mentally into being the best that we all can be by using this energy of change.

Colors for this time are The Gold’s, Reds, and Rich colors of the first harvest of the year, which will be August 1st, or Lammas. What is your personal first harvest going to be? We begin the month with the energy of FIRE, which is action. The Sun, in Leo: Jupiter and Uranus in Aries, as well as the moon on August first gets us off to a fast paced energy of Spirit. Fire is spirit, joy, love and this energy is encouraging all of us to let go of the pain of the past and move into the Now.
The Sun or the Light in the sign of Leo until the 22nd when it moves to more calm and settled Virgo is assisting us to radiate self-love, self-confidence and a healthy love of all our fellow humans, OR, we can hook into pride? Your choice, but Leo’s message is to remain heart centered in all we say, think, and do and radiate this out to the world.
Mercury of course is Retrograde from August 20th through September 12th in the sign of Virgo. When this planet of communication moves forward on September 12th we will finally begin to make some concrete plans. Virgo desires to build stable and ecologically sound structures and this mercury retrograde allows us to rethink plans and perhaps put some projects back onto the drawing board. Avoid criticism this month and try not to push and shove…
Though Mercury retrograde gets a bad rap, how about using this time to rethink, replay, reapply, reconfigure and repair things in your life which need a bit of tlc and you will be fine with this and every mercury retrograde (See article on my website http://www.carolbarbeau.com) for more information.
Meanwhile, walk softly and take care that your mouth does not write a contract or a check that your fanny cannot cover this mercury retrograde with all the planets seeming to try and pull us in many different directions at the same time.
Saturn (discipline & Duty) in the sign of Libra for the next 2 and ½ years is going to ask us all to focus on being dedicated finding, connecting and applying ourselves to relationships. I mean so much more than romantic relationships, what about groups which support causes which you believe in? How about being willing to find some new friends who share some of your new ideas, since of course you are transforming aren’t you?. Shifting family dynamics into a more healthy mode?
During the first 2 weeks of August Mars joins with Saturn bringing an intensity and some wonderful opportunity to meet new people but you have to get out and do it to make it happen with Libra energy it is about equality…smile and see who smiles back.
The dark of the moon time or time to set intents this month is the 7th and 8th until that new moon August 9th, 8:08pm The new Moon is a bringing in time and it is in the sign of (WHAT ELSE?) Leo Get out, connect with others and be open to joy
On the 13th Uranus the planet of change backs up from Aries into Pisces and again The energy of form seems to dissolve before our eyes. This is in order that we enter 2011 With an open mind and be open to new options. Jupiter moving backwards (retrograde) In Aries will rejoin Uranus in Pisces in September. Again bringing us many options to increase psychic abilities, get to know our guides and angels and learn to listen better to our wise and ancient souls (aka inner voice).
The 24th brings a full moon with the Sun in Virgo and the moon in intuitive Pisces…. This full moon joins with Uranus, Jupiter, Chiron, Pluto, Saturn in strong aspects and all of the main players in the sky for 2 weeks making significant aspects We are on the ride folks, we may as well smile and enjoy it, because the only option is to get off and who wants to do that when we are in such interesting times and have great opportunity to make this world a better place?
My challenge to you is to turn off the TV…quit worrying about what you cannot change, begin to change the things you can and ENJOY LIFE: I wish you Joy, laughter, love, light, abundance in all good things . We are all of us sharing this ride on planet earth at this time and looking at a very challenging month…and perhaps that challenge is just about this…. Having a FUN Summer and enjoying the ride because it is going to take you to wondrous places if you allow it.
