The more linear and practical sign of Virgo at 4:04am brings in

Thursday July 03, 2008   WE are still in the NEW MOON WINDOW

Grandmother Moon still is calling us with the energy of the
Moon still in Cancer today and we are still looking at the
Cancerian issues.  Home, security, safety, love, nurturing and
How do we get these things?

Safety to me has always been a word that makes me laugh.  WE
Love as children wild rides, we fall in love, we have babies, we
Buy homes, we leave jobs, we move, all of these are not safe things
Are they?  BUT we do them hoping for MORE and knowing in
Our minds and hearts that without risk there can be  no true joy.

This day brings us into connection with a desire for more as
At 6:03am the moon opposes Jupiter.  Since Venue the planet
Of love made this opposition last night we , many of us may
Be feeling that we have not done enough, or gone far enough
Or whatever.  I always just use that as a jumping off place
To my favorite saying.  “WHEN I am caught up and done I will

ALWAYS COMPLETE”  hanging in my office.   So, how about

New moons are always seed planting times and the New
Moon each year in the sign of Cancer seems to bring up
The issues related to Nurturing, care taking, care giving
And most of all worthiness of ourselves to have as well
As give.  

This month I heard many people say
“Are you asking me to learn to take, as well as give”
I replied “I am asking you to be willing to RECEIVE,
As well as give”  Doesn’t it sound differently that way?

This New moon at 12 Degrees of Cancer tonight opens
Us up even further to reconnect with our feelings.  What
Do I DESERVE seems to be the theme for me right now.
How about you? 

Are you feeling that maybe you have
Shorted yourself somehow and it is time to give a bit
Better self care?  If so, you are into the theme of this
New Moon and if there Are fears which arise with these
 new insights about what you Need, be open to listening
to what feelings come up.  

For us all,   with so much on the media
of Loss, and fear based, if fears come up for you personally
please , look at them and Remember, that you are experiencing
a strong theme which Is playing out upon this planet to encourage
us to strengthen the things in our lives which are Real.

There is a connective tissue And part of this tissue right now
carries some fear.  But this connection carries the knowledge
that we are not alone and we can always change our lives
by changing the way we view things.

For some of us the  greatest fear that we have is of
being unloved And not safe.  This new moon will give
us options Over the next month to see how we can have more
Safety and more love in our lives by being the Best
