We are gifted with the ability create illusion and visions with Neptune, the knowledge of what we must do with the North Node, as we are super sized into Believing all is possible with Jupiter and Chiron the wounded healer shows us that all wounds can be healed by Belief. All these planets gather in the air (thoughts and ideas) sign of Aquarius and we all get to be rather Piscean and Aquarian this year no matter our sun sign.
February is the 2nd month of a number 11 year making this month an 4 month which is about security and looking at issues regarding finances, safety and for many of us housing choices. February was named from the Latin word Februare, a word that the Latin’s borrowed from the Sabines and it means “TO PURIFY” Self.
January 20th through February 18th in the American Indian Tradition is called the REST AND CLEANSING MOON. IT is said that a silver cord that holds our souls to our body in energized during this time. Using silver, water, candles and anything, which aids your own internal perception and will help your emotions to flow properly works well during this time, what can it hurt and most of us surely need more energy don’t we?

- And the stones held sacred in ancient times were the Peridot and coral. And from Ancient times the Amethyst. This stone assists with purifying and clearing energy as well as is a wonderful healing stone. OUR task right now with the eclipses, major planet shifts and the global economy is to Generate the power from within and recognize that our response to external circumstances is a much more important part of all this than we may realize. Purification of self, healing of the mind and recognizing that fear breeds fear and thinking Positive is our task for right now..
AND as planets are only messengers or energies to bring powers to us, please use this months gifts to reflect, ponder and shift your mind and then watch your life follow in whatever way you are concentrating on. We are truly being SUPERSIZED with Jupiter in the sign of Aquarius for the first time in 12 years and opening to our own unique and original creativity is the major lesson of this time.
Old paradigms are falling down in order to create ways to live which are healthier, more connected to source and as a part of this we must be positive and shift from negative thoughts to positive. Thoughts create most emotions and we can control And shift them if we choose. Aquarius says “the good of the one CANNOT outweigh the good of the all” and this is pushing us towards a more equal and very different world.
We are truly dreaming our lives by what we think and talk about and OUR LIVES are opening hugely with this wonderful planetary energy to NEW and exciting times for us all. Being willing to allow ourselves to know that Perhaps the best plan might not be the plan we have for ourselves but that there is another plan which will take us to where we signed on to go better than the path we thought we wanted to be on. So, Being open to letting go a bit and allowing spirit to flow through us will work very well during this time of huge changes around and within us.
We roll into this month reverberating from the Solar eclipse at 6 Degrees of Aquarius on January 25th. Solar eclipses often block the NOW and allow us to reach backwards, learn from the past. This is a time when we are allowed to bring in new contacts and being open to being ourselves works wonderfully. We are allowed to see the past with Solar eclipses.
With the Lunar eclipse on the 9th of February which is a full moon (we are allowed to release all which we do not want to take into this year with us) and what we discovered was still within us during the Solar eclipse time. So, the next 2 weeks open us to Releasing and letting go of the past. This Is a time where we are given the energy of the moon in the Heart centered sign of Leo (fire and passion) and with the sun in the mentally agile intellectual sign of Aquarius (Air) we are gifted with the energy to break old patterns and really connect with change. . Lunar eclipses seem REALITY check times and we now know more surely what the next step is for ourselves.
On the 2nd Venus the planet of love moving into Aries fires us up with enthusiasm and bravery and allows us to risk a bit more. Mercury the planet of how we think begins the Month in Capricorn and is still in the retrograde shadow until the 21st when it reaches the degree of Aquarius which it moved retrograde in. So, expect wild ideas, new projects, breakthroughs and an ability to reconnect with your source and make new plans to be strong this month especially when Mercury gets back into Aquarius on the 14th.
With the sun in the sign of Aquarius until the 18th when it enters Pisces we are asked to ponder deeply the meaning of life and create new visions of ourselves and how we connect to others.
On the 18th when the Sun enters the watery and psychic land of Pisces.. the ability to touch, smell, feel and really connect with more than you could dream possible becomes stronger. This energy will work in relationships, business and your inner world and is much more powerful this year than ever before...as the sun (the light and where we are now) joins with Uranus the planet of change next month we are feeling that URGE to merge and knowing that things are not going to stay the same.
The New moon or bringing in time on the 24th is in the water sign of Pisces and by then we seem to be reaching more for the dream and more comfortable with Not knowing the next step..
This is the month to remember that you are here on this planet as a direct response from a need this planet has. Begin now to answer the need which brought your soul to this planet. WE are here and the TIME IS NOW: get ready for being the most you can be and more than you ever thought you could be.
