Monthly Overview

2007 is a number 9 year of endings for the planet and when you add the 8th month (August) you get a 17 or 8. The number 8 to me is what is important to me? IS it Spiritual contentment, achievement, health, MONEY, reward, respect, recognition or whatever it is that shows you are on track to you personally. This 9 year of endings is asking many of us whether we are to continue with a particular dream or work or is it time to begin something new?

This theme is echoed for us all last month by Mercury going backwards in Cancer asking us about Safety, security and are we on our path. Until August 4th we are still within that sacred Shadow of Mercury retrograde. This time gives us a tremendous opportunity to readdress our lives as well as the emotional issues which we have chosen to carry with us thus far. Security issues are powerful for us all now, as Cancer is the sign which most represents personal safety and security.

Jupiter the planet of faith, trust belief and the planet which just wants MORE for us, moves direct on the 6th at 9 degrees of Sagittarius and Jupiter Direct, will bring hope back to many of us and for others show us that this particular path is not supporting our needs right now. On this same day Mars the planet of action moving from Taurus into Gemini offers many options and breaks us free from old patterns if we allow our minds to be open to the new.

The Symbol for August is the Lion, the Colors sacred to this energetic time are Gold and scarlet, which are colors of the 1st and 3rd chakras. Grounding us with Red into our passion 1st Chakra. And energizing us to KNOW we can accomplish anything we choose with Gold 3rd Chakra.

The theme for the sun in Leo is always "I WILL". AND, what do you will to do or create with the passions of fire (action) and water (emotions) so strong this month? Do you will to use your power to continue with your path or is it time to change? For us all; we can Use the power of Emeralds, and Jade, as power and growth stones to help us with this month of huge changes for ourselves and the planet.

The sun in Leo which is the sign of love, self expression, respect and recognition echoes this theme until the 23rd when it shifts to much more practical Virgo. Until then feelings are strong and hurt easily and we are all still searching out the answers as to whether our current path is the one which will help us achieve our dreams

Venus which is the planet of what we want is retrograde all month in the sign of VIRGO until the 8th then backs into POWERFUL LEO and power issues as well as reacessing relationships and our relationship with things is a work of the heart as well as the mind.

Please Remember Venus is retrograde and this is not the best time for a marriage or love commitment but a wonderful time to really decide where your priorities lie.

On the 12th we have a NEW MOON here in Seattle at 4:02pm. With the sun in Fiery, passionate and intense Leo (fire) we are asked to move into JOY, and the moon in the same energy we are gifted with the ability to truly look within ourselves and make decisions based upon our passions. NEW MOONS are bringing in times and times of increase so this next 2 weeks look at where your passion lies and support this with all your power.

The full moon LUNAR ECLIPSE on the 28th is a powerful time with the sun in more Practical VIRGO and the moon in Intuitive Pisces.. This Full moon is a time of releasing and finding the balance between what the mind tells us and what we know on an intuitive level.

This Eclipse is the 3rd and final Pisces Virgo eclipse pattern so expect those issues which have plagued us about our dreams (Pisces) and our practical lives (Virgo)

To truly come into clarity. Lunar eclipse hide the PAST and show us correctly where we are at RIGHT NOW: the solar eclipse on September 11th will be the sun and Moon in Virgo and clarity and vision will be much more grounded. So, grab for the dreams now.

On the 10th Mercury (ideas) into Leo pushes us forward even more into the fiery passion of creativity and ideas are juicy and full of joy if we allow it to happen. On the 12th Venus the planet of Love and beauty enters (backs into) Leo and more of the above times 1,000. OF course, Saturn the planet of containment and responsibility in the fire sign of Leo this whole year has demanded our accountability to all of the above and this month pushes us even more strongly into what makes us HAPPY and what helps us to sing our song. September 2nd Saturn moves to Virgo and this energy will be gone for 29 years so use it RIGHT NOW please.

August 2007 carries the power to fuel our dreams and the sustainability to manifest them into a real world for ourselves. The practical energy along with the Cancer stuff really is going to have many of us making shifts to secure ourselves into what we feel is safe and sustainable

The stars do guide us, but they do not control us, and this month we have some HUGE decisions to make as to what to support and what to let go. DAYS TO AVOID major decisions are::: 10th and 11th with the DARK OF THE MOON, make wishes, and meditate your intents. The 20th carries some really have faith and wait energy and as always full and new moons and eclipses are not the best days to make major purchases, or otherwise commit.

GREAT DAYS This month are ANY DAY WHICH YOU KNOW In your heart is the RIGHT Time to do something. AND this month we are truly asked to step up to the line and support that which speaks to our heart and soul.
