Pesky Eclipses

Eclipses are the WILD CARDS in our lives. They are the major spots in your life where the action will be happening over the next year or so. Yes, these wild and enthusiastic event horizons do not go away after a month or so like the full and new Moons. They are here to stay for up to 6 months, and sometimes longer…So, understanding that part of your life which is being influenced surely will give you insight and awareness of the intent of this time.

Go see a competent astrologer at least once a year, take a calendar or timing class, and keep an eye out for unexpected events. I always try and keep my schedule light going into eclipses and realize that some choices may be taken out of my hands during eclipses.

With all eclipses, something ends, and something else begins. IF YOU act hastily now, things will not work out as you had envisioned. Be open and allow the gifts of the universe to come to you with these eclipses learn about where these degrees are for you and get ready for some fun in 2007.

CLINICALLY, a solar eclipse is when the moon stands between the sun and earth and cuts off the light. Astrologically this is an event, which brings back the past (MOON) in vivid detail. People, places, events, and maybe ideas and feelings from the past? This is, like all in Life a GOOD THING: We are now allowed to see the why and wherefore and get the opportunity to redo something or finally and forever put it to rest.

A Lunar eclipse is when the Earth (practicality and where we are now) stands between the moon and the sun, cutting off the light of the sun from the moon. These eclipses seem to bring us into REALITY. The bright light of truth, justice and what not is now shone on all those Old ideas and feelings and we get an opportunity to truly SEE THE LIGHT in our own lives.

Lunar eclipses are a bit more emotionally electric than solar eclipses so remember the ECLIPSE RULE: NO NOT REACT or even ACT right now if possible for 2 weeks prior and 2 weeks after these eclipses. Eclipses will reverberate for about 6 months for all of us, so there is no sense in rushing into actions right now.

SOLAR eclipses seem to emphasize the Start or seed planting of something. Like the light goes on and we see what MUST be done. A NEW MOON SOLAR ECLIPSES (which means the sun and moon are sitting together in the sky) is about personal choices for us all, and desires that we break free of all that binds us into roles, which we have outgrown. Solar eclipses seem to BLAST us into seeing old patterns and allowing us to realize whether we need these things in our lives anymore.

My personal belief is that eclipses are the WILD cards that allow us to AWAKEN. Eclipses happen to WAKE US UP

TRY NEVER to sign important papers, have surgery, or do major debates or negotiations, during the 24 hours prior to and after the eclipse. The waves of emotions are still high and it is best to wait for a smoother energy for important events.

THE ECLIPSES work with the LUNAR Nodes which represent in your chart where you have come from and where you are growing to. AND In the sky where we learning spiritual development are the North node and the South Node is what has nourished us in the past.

Relationships figure prominently into all 4 of these eclipse, not only relationships with significant others, but who we work with, befriend, and connect with in all ways… Shifts and changes are here now and they are bringing connection to others.

VIRGO energy is about the fact, the details and the earthy work involved to manifest our goals and desires. Pisces is about that nebulous connection and divine guidance which we receive when we tune out of the facts and into the divine consciousness. As in all new moons FOCUS comes in strong and with FULL moons we are pulled 2 directions in opposition at the same time. Lunar Eclipse August 28, 2007 3:35am Here in Seattle with the sun at 5 Degrees of Virgo Joined by the south node and mercury, and the Moon at 5 Degrees of Pisces joined by the north node, Pallas Athena and Uranus. Again we are back to the theme of March asking what is fact and what is faith? Solar Eclipse September 11, 2007 5;44am Here in Seattle The sun and moon sitting at 18 degrees of Virgo joined by Saturn which for the first time in 29 years is now in this sign. Also the south node and the part of fortune indicate a strong karmic energy for self healing and self improvement as well as major changes in all relationships. This eclipse is a very powerful energy of bringing sacred connections to others and to self creating an almost magical healing energy.
