Monthly Overview

The doors of Opportunity Open for us into 2007 With our planet entering a number 9 year of endings what is shifting and changing For you personally? What is leaving your life gently and easily, and what opportunities will now be able to enter into your life with this new space opening up?

WE enter 2007 with a plentitude of Planets in the sign of Sagittarius, which is about OPTIMISM. Jupiter the planet of Optimism, faith and hope will be in this sign for the next year bringing us a much needed release from the past, and from old outdated fears. Jupiter in Sagittarius is bringing us out of the darkness into the energy of FIRE which is about our Passion.

Jupiter has not been in Sagittarius for 12 years so integrity to self will be mandatory for us all this next year in order for us to make this energy work at its optimum efficiency. We also have Mars the planet of action in this sign for New Years as Well as Pluto the planet which has been now deemed a dwarf star but like all good heroes in death this planet will BE MUCH more powerful than in life. Add these 3 planets together and I see a chart with the most power packed lineup that I have seen in years for our entrance into 2007.

This time energetically each year is the time of Capricorn which is about achievement and with the Sun (the light) and Venus (what we want) in Capricorn and the Sagittarius mix…well, when we mix those 2 energies together we have a powerful elixir of transformation to welcome this new year in for our planet and to use for ourselves.

Happy Birthday Capricorn and Aquarius and welcome to your month. As we celebrate with the Colors of January which are Black and Brown & all dark shades These Colors are about Grounding, centering and anchoring into our path. The Stones Sacred to this time are the GARNET and the energy of Kyanite and this year with the powers of the 3rd Chakra coming into this planet so strongly we also will add SUNSTONE, and Golden Citrine to assist us in our life path. These stones assist us TO KNOW WE can do whatever we need to do, which is what the 3rd Chakra is about energetically

January flowers are carnations and Snowdrops. The Ruling planet of January is Saturn which is the energy of discipline, duty, organization and efficiency and is in the sign of LEO (heart energy) until September this year. Saturn right now is Retrograde, or moving backwards all this month and this will lessen some of the stresses around you in order to allow your own inward energy to align you with your true purpose instead of what others have mapped out for you.

January is the first month, and added to this number 9 year makes January 2007 a NUMBER 1 month of NEW BEGINNIGNS for us all. We have opportunity abounding with planets in the sky asking us to open to intuition, new ideas and to BELIEVE and it will happen for us. SO a new cycle really does begin this January 1st.

This month asks what do I need to be happy? How do I achieve the best life for myself, with the sun, and Venus in Capricorn? What is the next step to passion, fire and integrity in my life with Jupiter and Saturn in FIRE signs. And what do I need to do to connect to my hearts desire and find that passion and enthusasism about my life again?

Pluto in Sagittarius has been asking us for the last few years to connect into our OWN Truth and integrity and have the courage to move forward. This planet will shift into Capricorn on December 20th 2008 and so the final pages are being written in our lives of acting upon passion. When Pluto moves to Capricorn for the first time in 280 years next year, we will be building and what we will be building is what you will be working on this year. So, this well may be the most important year of your life. WE have been learning to act upon our own inner guidance this last year and it has not been an easy year for many of us or the planet. This next year we are asked to stretch even further and in doing so we will reach the stars truly and FLY free of so much which causes us pain and suffering. Once again we move off into a New Year with the experiences, joys, pains, and knowledge that WE MADE it for another year and this year will be better for us all. On the 16th and 17th work on making intents with the moon in Capricorn and Mars the planet of Action entering Capricorn for the Magical Dark of the moon or Balsamic moon phase of January and HONOR that new moon in Capricorn on the 18th 8;01pm here in Seattle. NEW moons are seed planting times and a time to and begin to work on that which will bring honor, respect and happiness within yourself about your life, which is what Capricorn is really about isn’t it?

Daily Report

FOR ASTROLOGERS we do a chart for major events, solstices, and especially important tome is the NEW YEAR chart.for those of you who understand astrology this might be of interest for others, you might learn something if you wish. IF not, just ignore this section before 1/1/2007 daily..please.

WITH THE January 01, 12am chart here in Seattle Washington WE enter January 2007 which will be a 9 year of endings with an interesting Astrology chart here on the east coast. LIBRA rising which is about balance. The ruling planet for this next year is VENUS the planet of love in Capricorn which is about us being the best we can be and probably expecting that of others also.

The sun and mercury and Venus all in Capricorn have to do with ideas (3rd house) and security and family (4th house) with the part of fortune in TAURUS In the 7th house of partnerships LOTS OF YOU are going to have the opportunity to find that soul mate. (PLEASE READ My article on soul mates on my web site). the moon in Gemini in the 9th house creates a desire to learn and grow closer with higher power as well as creates an energy of learning.

THIS new YEARS chart has Saturn and transpluto retrograde in the 11th house of groups and indicates a strong need for us to help others and remember, our legacy is not only what we leave behind, it is also what you get to take with you into the next life. GIVE learnings, and what you can away in order to have it on the other side.I am not talking about running out and deeding your house, but giving laughter, friendship. a helping hand when you have it to give. And with the south node in the 12th house. FOR many of us karmically we will meet those this year who have assisted us in other lifetimes.

The north node in this chart in the 6th house in Pisces next to Uranus the planet of change tells me that we MUST change the way we do service and realize that we are all one. This is a very quick run over but is what I see in the predictive chart for the West coast area.. Juno the asteroid of partnering in the FIRST HOUSE OF SELF IN LIBRA:::

Happy New Years Day..Are you still celebrating?
With the moon in Gemini most of you will not really want to settle down today. In many cultures this day is celebrated much more than Christmas or any other holiday. DID you sweep out the old year and put that old broom outside last night? IF NOT do so today, go out and buy another broom right now please. LETS not let 2006 flow into 2007 anymore than we want it to please.. and if this was the best year for you ever.well, I guess keep that broom and you are probably 1 in a million. this was a rough year for many.

12:04pm well, reality comes with the advent of Mars taking up an opposition and saying. LETS GET GOING, tomorrow is a work day and we are 2 days away from a FULL MOON and a shift to a time of letting go. WHAT do we need to increase right now?

9:25pm Saturn moves in and adds to all of the above.

Applying Intuition to solve practical stuff is great right now
The moon in Gemini moved v/c at 2:06am and then into Cancer at 7;14am. Days before new moons are always a bit more emotional and today is no exception.

Paying attention to how you are feeling today works wonderfully. Please open to intuition and use the sextile with Uranus and the sun as well as the 2:06am aspect as PLUTO opposed the moon to get to the root of issues within yourself.

Others may be a bit moody today and you may feel like there was some huge shift.and there was..so, listen to your inner self, voices, guides, whatever you call them and get a theme going for this next FULL moon on Wednesday which will be the CANCER (safety, home, security) issues vs. the CAPRICORN (worldly achievement and perseverance to duty stuff)

I had several letters asking about me this week..... I do have a bio on the web site and think we are all called so many things. I feel I am more what I do in life than what I am called... So, i am an elder... older woman... A wife, Widow, Mother, grandmother, teacher, student, friend, and much more. JUST LIKE many of you... Professionally..

Just this last week I sat with a person as she made the courageous decision to turn off the life support on her 22 year old daughter. I am so privileged to do so many things and want to thank you this year and hopefully the next for allowing me into your light and life, and hopefully you will continue to allow me to KEEP THE LIGHT on for you?

• Jan 06 Sun (the light) conjuncts Mercury, (the mind and ideas) and we have a great day to really speak our truth or at the least maybe really KNOW them?..
• Jan 10 Venus conjuncts Chiron (8 Aquarius 34) and we have a great opportunity for healing relationship issues
• Jan 12 Venus sextile Jupiter Bringing hope & trust to relationships
• Jan 13 Mars conjunct Pluto (27 Sag) action touches transformation
• Jan 15 Mercury (ideas and the mind) moves into Aquarius, and we become more open to our sameness and less into differences.

Look at life from a new view
The moon in Cancer this morning is asking us to still keep connected to that wonderful aspect last night of change. Be open to others talking, acting and BEING outside the box more than a bit today and tonight. Changing the way you look at things truly does change them with help from the planets today.

1:14pm the moon moves to Fiery LEO and we more directly connect in with what we WANT and how we know we need to shift to make it happen.. Leo is about love and all love has to begin with SELF love..

Productivity is high
The moon in Virgo moves us forward today as it connects with other planets in order to assist us to get our act together. A much needed thing for me this year and I am sure many of you are feeling scattered also. Drawing down the forces of the earth and creation are possible today if you ground, center and connect with earth and its energy.

10:10am the sun gets into the act and helps us see what we need to do

12:18pm mercury which is ideas now assists us also

11:01pm mars decides he no longer wants to play and since mars in Sagittarius is about FREEDOM? By tonight we may be ready to play and forget all that hard work stuff.

With all this strong FIRE (action) and EARTH (manifesting into reality) energy, watch those around you and see who is working with the energy and who is frustrated. What you get today may be what you NEED
The moon in Virgo makes a v/c or times out at 4;50am after making a ROUGH aspect with PLUTO which is transformation. Making this v/c or commute this am not the best for some of you. I think astrology is much like the weather. IT is my job to tell you when to wear a raincoat and get out the candles. AND not being truthful is not a good thing in my book:

So, get out the umbrella on your way to work today, slow down and realize the aspect today is only to help free you from things which hold you back. NOW.for some of you this might be a job, so.leave early for work, go slow.NO major purchases and Hang tight, things will improve MIGHTILY at

10:15am when the moon enters the more social sign of Libra. BUT SINCE it does not make an aspect until 2:14am tomorrow am.this PLUTO thingey, kind of rules the day. THINGEY is my key word for ..hmmmm?? this might not exactly be MY plan but it could be Higher powers plan? And that is ok, right?

Compromise and getting along is strong today as well as a connection to others. So get out and be social and be open to what the universe has in store for you .. Look for the lessons, not the event.

• Use Turquoise for tissue regeneration, aligning charkas, and loyalty & this is a great Shamanic stone for inner connection
• Oil of Sage to relieve depression, and is a great PMS and menopausal oil. Also used for purification ceremonies and healing, this also dispels negativity and helps produce estrogen.. Using this to cook with is great and I always have this around to burn to clear space and energy. I use this at least once a day.

VENUS and Chiron touch
The moon in Libra is playing happy today. This is one of the best days this month.

Purchases, contracts, surgery, whatever you choose to do, should all go well. And if it does not then realize that what is at work in the sky is Saturn retrograde asking you to make your own new rules and some folks are just not playing by the old rules are they?

Today for the one time this year Venus the planet of love touches CHIRON the Wounded healer. and those old insecurity and relationship issues could surface if you have not been working on connecting to your own and others needs. Chiron's message for us all (Please see my article on the website) is that through our wounds we not only heal ourselves but learn great lessons and then in turn can teach this to others.

WOW::: Hasn't this year began with a BANG::??? This is a bit of an extra monthly report...I have surely had some interesting experiences these first 7 days of 2007, what about you? FOR ME personally....POWERLESS ness is surely a part of the Seattle weather with more DOWN TIME with lights and telephone for myself and thousands of others as the winter unusual storms here in Seattle seem to continue.. Could This perhaps be the word for right now? POWERLESS? OR could it be that you need the time to be empowered and this is just what we have prayed for .and are now getting in a form which we do not recognize? Are we really getting...time to connect and to be given a STRONG and potent SIGN of what the next step is to be? .....Could this not just be an irritation, but maybe a lesson for us all? and what we see as POWERLESS truly be a time when we are being EMPOWERED and just do not know it yet?

So, please look at things NOT going your way as a lesson and a bit more time to rethink how you really WANT things to happen, your plan may not be the BEST plan and this time will give you more information......

AND.... Are you feeling lots more frustration right now? A bit of anger inside yourself and not sure where it is coming from? Anything but the peaceful and spiritually connected energy you would like to be having? IF so, i bet you are not practicing your meditation, deep breathing, connecting with nature, getting out with friends, doing a job you love and feeling that you are growing?

I surely am experiencing this frustration in so many clients and especially in e mail this month... WELL...welcome to JUPITER in Sagittarius Land and PLUTO endings its last year in this sign for 280 years..and we NOW we really get to FEEL the Fire...  and with Saturn which is the planet of CONTROL going backwards in another fire sign, LEO, the brakes are off in order for us to see our real issues of Power...

Fire is passion, intensity, direction, focus and POWER and when we are not knowing what way to go...what happens with this power? Could it be frustration, agitation and maybe some anger? SO...how to defuse this energy? I would suggest exercise, finding things you LIKE and enjoy and doing more of them...things you are passionate about will dissipate passion into a GOOD direction. This is a time for us all to Realize that energy has to go someplace and putting it into what you want to create will energize you...now i know.....

the other end of this is the POOPED PUPPY SYNDROME....is your tail dragging, is there too much to do and you just do not want to do any of it? Could it be that this energy is burning out some of our own wiring? IF so...why? Could it possibly be Time to rewire ourselves into something new? These are Just some ideas I am tossing around as I perceive the huge changes that are here amongst us...Over this last 7 days 18 people who i know well have lost someone significant in their lives. The doors are opening to opportunity and for some it will be the opportunity to move to the other side to do their work there. AND for some of us the opportunity to learn the next step is going to need to include some new learnings and new ways of dealing with energy and our lives as well as bringing some new people in who will walk this path with us.

I have no set answers I am afriad and all I am getting in the way of answers when I pray and meditate ......is "NEW WAYS": We are all going to learn NEW WAYS of dealing with things and the only way our guides and angels and what not can get some of us to move those POOPED FANNIES is to poke and prod us. So, lets get out and maybe make some happy fiery passionate stuff happen for ourselves so we do not get poked and prodded so much.

PLEASE::: give yourself credit for what you have accomplished and look at the list of "I HAVE DONE THAT" and maybe not so much at the "I NEED TO DO that " list...give yourself respect for what you have done and HONOR the you who you have become and be kind to the you who you were... That person did the best with what they had didn't they?  NOW new tools for the road for us all are here and you will become even more fantastic and wonderful with alot of help from above...

GO for joy and fun and what energizes your mind and soul and I PROMISE the pooped puppy syndrome will stop. What is this is just about us getting rid of things which take our energy and DO NOT GIVE back to us? thoughts to ponder for the month for us all I think?  More later...and...:

The moon in Libra today asks the above question and asks us how we can manage relationships with others if we cannot do a loving relationship with self?

THIS is one of those interesting days which are really hard to call.As we all look at our own personal progress this should be an interesting day.

4:44am the moon and sun set up a last quarter stage which asks us how far along we have come on our own emotional baggage house cleaning

10:46am more energy with Saturn to get rid of that which is not making us happy and do some personal work along the way

10:59am a struggle between how you think and what you KNOW could be happening which might explain people acting a bit weird, or is one of the people yourself? Mercury (how we think, squares the Moon) and Libra moon wants balance and mercury in Capricorn wants achievement.who wins? You get free choice and isn't that nice?

3:55pm focus gets results

5:55pm the moon goes v/c with a great aspect to PLUTO the planet (dwarf) or so Called dwarf now. Personally I feel that this planet maybe has more power than before and part of this is that it is at the CENTER OF THE GALAXY now. and how much more powerful can we get than being AT CENTER??

The moon in Sagittarius makes a wonderful early am aspect with Saturn and Fire and a sense of heart centered energy is here along with a bit of SNAP, crackle and pop. Energetically we have lots of fire still happening and that can warm your hands and heart or SET the building on fire. SO, use this day carefully, put your energy into what you CHOOSE TO GROW: because it for sure will do just that.

6:06pm the moon touches Mars and more of the above. Even though these energies have moved to Capricorn they are within 10 degrees still of the Galactic center which is 27 degrees of Sagittarius. SO we have a different theme coming in but still the power. Earth Signs or Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo are about building... Fire is the passion to tell you what to build What is the Galactic Center really about and what does it mean for you personally? I will put a note under today's colors and stones.

Fire energy demands fuel so what are we eating, how are we living, what are we doing for fun and how are we feeding the fire?

This is Just for an alternative to what you might be thinking now about some of these very frustrating events and energies... WHAT if? WE did not learn as easily from things going smoothly. IF something happens gently, easily and quickly the first time, what happens? POWERFUL Building day
The moon In Capricorn makes this Dark of the moon a really strong and powerful day to enable you to see the Light side.. Taking yourself with a grain of salt and others also today and letting go of that belief that you have CONTROL will gain you a great deal.

3:29pm Uranus the planet of CHANGE makes a great aspect with the Moon in Capricorn and we could be shifting gears into some real achievement if we allowed ourself to tend to our own stuff and stayed out of others Stuff.

We are all struggling to find balance and wondering what will happen next. How we get through all this is to believe BELIEVE and trust and truly listen to our own visions, our own values, and goals and to stay true to self. NEW MOON NIGHT:::: DREAM today and make the wish tonight
WE ARE STILL in that magical dark of the moon AKA Balsamic moon time until the SUN and MOON come together tonight .8:01pm here in Seattle Washington.other times if you are in another time zone. SO MAKE THOSE MAGICAL WISHES TODAY towards what you wish to accomplish.

YES: we are having our NEW MOON with the sun and moon sitting together in the sign of CAPRICORN which is an earth sign. Earth is about BUILDING and we are entering a NEW WORLD and much to the chagrin of those of you out there who believe it is all about woo woo stuff. Hopefully you spent a few days or at least hours, or minutes? Thinking on just this theme this last week or so? This is a very grounded earthy group of people in the Federal way area, and this energy will open them EVEN WIDER into intuition, dreams and visions and I may just tape this class for those of you wanting a wilder trip. .and you also today can take that magical dreamy trip if you allow it to happen.meditation and prayer both work . as well as nature::.

Some of you may just wile away the day in dreams and find that you do not get much done. IF that is your day. WONDERFUL, give thanks that you have the dreams and can do that. IF you had to be productive today? Well, I hope like me, you did your organizational work ahead of time and just had to show up and do the job today.

we have a wild and wonderful, GO FOR THE GUSTO DAY, slow down please so as to not step on others toes...

The moon moves into ARIES (FIRE and the FIRST SIGN OF SPRING) at 2:52am and we are off and running for a much livelier and more LETS GET IT DONE day today. Yesterdays fuzzy thoughts and confusion will fade into a memory as we move forward and we are triggered into more impulsive energy. REMEMBER WE are still actively activating that Jupiter, Uranus square and we are all really ready for changes.

conquest today is accomplished by slowing down
Today is a first quarter moon, meaning that plans made with the NEW Moon on the 18th, now need to be reconfigured a bit. SO at 1:50am the moon goes v/c or times out until 5:28am when it enters Taurus. Taurus is an EARTH sign about use, meaning, purpose and would like things smoothes, sensual, earthy, practical, and easy going and settled. HOW is that working for you? For me that has not seemed the theme of this year so far.

This day carries a slow down and get settled in a bit more energy as we are asked to focus on what we want, and NOT to be so stubborn that we are unwilling to see that perhaps what we want is not as good as what we could get if we loosen up and accept something different

OPEN TO THE VISION and hold on tight
The moon in Taurus has a pretty happy day until about..woops. 5:21am. lets say a great night's sleep followed by every other planet in the sky telling that Taurus moon to wake up, smell the roses and get going. Since the moon is emotions, this day surely does carry a bit of push me pull you stuff. AND that said, you get to rule the day by ruling your thoughts don't you? Can you hear those ideas shifting today?
The moon in Stable Taurus takes a right turn at the OK Corrall and shifts us once again into uncharted and Unimaginable wonderfully open and creative waters. The v/c or timed out moon at 8:08am makes a ROUGH aspect with VENUS the planet of what we want and love. So, With Venus finishing up her stint today in the sign of Aquarius (air, ideas, and rather unsettled energy) please expect the unexpected and use this rather irritatingly (ok lets just go for it) energy to shift yourself away from MY WILL IS WHAT I want into "let my will be Thy will energy"

9:10am the moon (emotions) shifts to Gemini and all of the above gets assistance as we are more mobile emotionally and more able to look at other options.

7:32pm tonight the Planet VENUS changes signs to Pisces, I always do this HUGE sign when this comes up for a month each year. Venus is about love, Pisces is often about the ILLUSION and well, do you see where I am going? This is that time when people come with WISH LISTS about relationships, ready to leave good relationships because they do not meet the wish lists and on and on. AND NOW you are hearing my very PRACTICAL Venus in Virgo speaking. The wonderful end this next month is that for those of you who thought this (love, relationships, even getting anything or something that you want was impossible) are in for a pleasant surprise. Because  NOW the door opens to the dream, to the vision and to the knowledge that ."WOW..I could do that couldn't? what you hear is going to open your life if you allow it?
The moon in Gemini receives some real challenges today. (Should have looked at this before scheduling a lecture at a church this am and tarot class this afternoon) OK:

7:28am this should help us all shift as the moon in Gemini which wants facts, Answers and more ideas, Squares Uranus the planet of change in Pisces This aspect is about bringing reality to the dream to me.OR Dream to the reality?

8:46am Jupiter in Sagittarius which has a bit of the Billy Graham aspect to It makes a square to the moon. IN English, others ideas and thoughts may not be in alignment with yours. (I shall need to be open to others ideas for that 10:30am lecture)

10:07am Mercury which is about ideas and thoughts now wearing the sign of Aquarius and is open to all kinds of new stuff, makes a rough aspect to Saturn in LEO which is going backwards. This is cut the small talk, keep to the point and the facts energy and asks us to focus in a STRAIGHTFORWARD manner. NONE of these are great abilities of mine. A learning day for me?

6:48pm a trine with Neptune and the day seems to align and all is well with the world. So maybe we just need to have notes, pay attention to others and keep to the facts today? Which shall become our kiss for the day

Kiss: Appetites are strong today, appetites of all kinds, are you on a diet? Make sure that you are not dieting away pleasure, joy, romance, happiness, and friendships. Today with the moon in Gemini we are asked to think outside the box. At 1:05am we had a great dream aspect to truly show us what the next step is? ARE you brave enough to take it? DO you remember dreams? Ask today and get the information. At 3:16am more information came through and this was an interesting night's sleep (OR NOT) for some of you I bet?

10:40am the moon in GEMINI times out and goes v/c until 2:16pm when it enters the more emotionally connected sign of Cancer. ALL THOSE options for open communication now compress into "DO you understand how I feel?" Type of energy and we get in connection with our own emotional needs and I bet others are SHARING with you their needs a bit more than normal today also?

Transformation is possible today and by 6;41pm tonight as the moon in Cancer connects in a trine (ASPECT OF EASE) with Venus (love) now wearing the sign of Pisces. More of that psychic, emotionally connected stuff comes forward.

OPEN to the unknown and trust in higher power
Today with the moon in Cancer we are asked or maybe even challenged as to how we
Achieve what we wish on the material plane and still stay safe. I always think of the term SAFE SEX.how can anything involving intimacy be safe? So, asking us to trust and be safe? IS like asking us to sit perfectly quietly and hope, that by breathing very shallowly noting NOTHING will happen to us.

8:45am mars in Capricorn wanting achievement makes an OPPOSITION to the Moon in safety loving cancer. Thus to achieve we are forced today to admit that we are Going to have to risk a bit. and that is sometimes a difficult aspect for some.

1:30pm the moon moves v/c until 9:14pm tomorrow. v/c days can be the greatest days in the month if you let go of expectations and just go with the flow and the WORST when you think you have the control and try to force things.

The Last aspect that the moon makes before going v/c rules the energy until it enters the next sign and today it is the WONDERFUL aspect of a trine with Uranus the planet of change. SO, by trusting in our feelings and our connection to the divine we know we are perfectly protected. OR in theory this is how this is supposed to work? So, if you do this well, GREAT day.if you do not do it as well? A GREAT day to learn to do it..and if you do not want to do it. MOON v/c all day
The moon in Cancer wanting us to connect to our emotions and FEEL our lives as we want them to be. OR feel our lives, so that we change them the way we want them to be? That warm fuzzy, emotionally connected moon Is v/c and making interesting openings from an aspect with change (Uranus) yesterday:

6:31pm tonight I begin a new astrology class with a wonderful aspect as MERCURY (ideas) creates a Sextile (assistance) aspect with Pluto (transformation) I always think these classes are more therapy than astrology and this class surely is beginning on a TRANSFORMATIONAL Note in Federal way:

For all of us today we have the option to transform our ideas by seeing what ideas help or hurt us (Mercury) in Aquarius.and finding our Truth. Pluto in Sagittarius. FIRE (action) and Air (ideas) and truth creates a wonderful energy.
