It’s Time for an Adventure!
Jupiter Expands in Sagittarius

It feels like it has been such a long year. This column has used words like opening your heart in spite of the heaviness of restrictive Saturn. It has talked about bursting your illusions so you can take on higher levels of service through the humbling and compassionate energies of Virgo and Pisces- like we really need more service to perform! Even poor Pluto had to release its attachment to being a real planet, now being called a dwarf by the bigger planets. Well, it’s time for a change.

Optimistic and generous Jupiter moves into its favorite sign, Sagittarius, on Thanksgiving Day. Both of these energies like to travel to distant places or sell that which is holding them down, moving to a fresh new life. Both are involved in the publishing industry, so it may be time to write that book. Philosophy, religion, and spiritual expansion are also coved by Jupiter and Sagittarius, so it may be time to enhance your connection to the Divine.

There is a price to pay when benefic Jupiter and Sagittarius are highlighted. You must release outdated beliefs that no longer serve you. Like a newborn chick, you must break out of the shell that used to protect you, but now only restricts you.

In short, you must take a risk on yourself. You must have the optimistic courage to face your fears or perceived shortcomings. It is time to rekindle that youthful lust for life, putting your heart and energy into some activity or project that calls to you, even if your logical, fearful mind tells you that you are crazy.

Of course, you have to be aware that that activity or project may not play out as you had hoped. There are no guarantees of success, only the thrill of throwing caution to the wind and allowing the long lost child within to have his or her day once again. Like the thrill of your first roller coaster ride, the world seems brighter as you race through the hills and curves.

Working without the safety net of guaranteed success is daunting, but Jupiter is the god of abundance. He wants to help you, but you must take the first step- the proverbial leap of faith.

Gemini: Relationship and partnership is your big adventure. ‘Keep it light” Gemini goes to intimate levels of sharing.

Cancer: It’s time to expand your work or service in the world. Take your business to the next level. Healers and animal loves thrive.

Leo: Travel for fun rather than for purposeful reasons. It is a good year to learn through children or creative ventures.

Virgo: Adventures are likely to be close to home this year, or travel to/with family as a key to your journey.

Libra: Writing, teaching, and opening closed minds are supported in the year ahead. Short, quick trips are likely.

Scorpio: Have fun making money or increasing your material world stature. See prosperity as an adventure rather than something that requires extensive effort.

Sagittarius: It is an easy year to put on weight, so watch your diet. Take your teaching work out to the world on a larger level.

Capricorn: It’s time for an inner, philosophical adventure rather than external world adventures. Intuitive understanding and spiritual growth are favored.

Aquarius: Travel with a group that plans to do some good deed. Open to new friends that can help you reach your aspirations.

Pisces: Your adventure comes through career and/or presenting yourself to the public. Step out and be seen.
