Welcome to September 2006

The wheel turns this month to the time of fall, and it is now time to really look at needed changes in our lives and be moved forward with ECLIPSES and get going on the next step.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY VIRGO and LIBRA

With Eclipses, AND high Holy days as well as remembrances services and powerful energies to create new realities this month is already manifesting many changes for us isn’t it?

September’s ancient gemstone is the sapphire. Sapphires are the power of intent stones to me and they always seem to carry wonderful energies no matter what their color.

The Colors for September are Gray and Navy blue and until the 22nd of this month, when we have the Fall Equinox (as the sun moves to Libra) we are officially still in the time of SOUTH or the time of summer in American Indian tradition. The animal totems right now are the Coyote and the Brown Bear, giving us both cunning and strength and courage.

On the 22nd with the Autumnal Equinox we enter the time of the West and fall, and then the Raven (messenger) arrives along with the Grizzly bear so we can more easily search out hidden things and have the courage to confront and overcome all obstacles. AND we have an SOLAR Eclipse on the same day really making this a powerful day.

September is sacred to the ancient Greek goddess Carpo, the Hora of autumn (Thallo was the Hora of spring). The Horae, daughters of Zeus and Themis, were goddesses of time and order in nature. Thus September is often thought of as a balancing point upon this planet for life patterns as well as nature.

On September 11, may we pause and send love and compassion through the world. This is the anniversary of the attack on America and please, In remembering that day, join me in sending healing to those who lost loved ones, and also to all those afflicted with hate for their fellow humans. With prayer and intent on this day let us flood our Earth with the Light of Love, and consciously create a world filled with peace and caring. All the Pisces energy this month just could help us complete the transformation into making this the World we KNOW it can be.. AND the VIRGO energy will enable us to do the next step to bring it into Reality.

Pluto the planet of transformation moving forward on the 4th (LABOR DAY) seems to ask that we transform our lives and ideas with the FIRE and passion of love. Pluto is about the evolution of our soul and with it in Sagittarius a steady diet of Truth and the ability to create new visions comes into greater importance. Mars the planet of passion, fire and energy on the 7th (LUNAR ECLIPSE day) moves into the relationship sign of Libra. This energy will enable many of us to take the next step in our own personal relationships. Just please remember… With all eclipses, something ends, and something else begins. IF YOU act hastily now, things will not work out as you had envisioned. Be open and allow the gifts of the universe to come to you with these eclipses.

FULL MOON Lunar Eclipse September 07, 2006 11:43am here in Seattle with the sun at 15 Degrees of Virgo and the Moon at 15 Degrees of Pisces. We are asking life and our situations, what is fact and what is faith and will you be willing to balance both intuition and practicality to achieve your goals: LUNAR ECLIPSES ARE FULL MOON Days and carry that energy of endings, and what must be let go of so that the next new moon we have room and space to bring in more of what we need in our lives. Since Full moons are about releasing and there are so many energies in Libra this month, many of you will use this energy to let go of old patterns and maybe even relationships.

On the 12th as Mercury the planet of ideas and communication moves to Libra, we are even more relationship orientated. Now is the time to do that negotiation, find that middle space and find the balance you so badly need in repairing contracts, and relationships.

On the 20th and the 21st we have the DARK OF the moon or Balsamic moon phase which is the most powerful time of the month to set intents and NOT the days to sign contracts or make major decisions. Use this magic and On the 22nd as the Sun enters Libra and we have the Autumnal Equinox and the sun begins its journey into the energy of fall and nights grow longer and days grow shorter. AND on this magical day we have a NEW MOON Solar Eclipse September 22nd 2006 4:50am here in Seattle the sun and moon sitting at 29 degrees of Virgo is a critical spot for self-improvement and also self-analyzing. This eclipse pushes us very much towards self-discovery and healing of old wounds REMEMBER SOLAR ECLIPSES are NEW MOON days also and are highly charged with new beginnings. And what would the world be without the facts and the energies of VIRGO are about details, and the work needed to accomplish goals as well as Virgo to me, always is the sign of the healer. There are disagreements about what planet rules Virgo and to me it will always be Chiron the wounded healer. But, those of you who think it is MERCURY the planet of ideas, how about we use both this month and HEAL WITH OUR IDEAS?

In the Jewish tradition, Rosh Hashanah, also known as the Jewish New Year is commemorated on September 23rd. And Yom Kippur, the day of Atonement is celebrated on October 2nd. So we are in an ancient holy energy this last of September 2006.

September 2006 besides being the 9th month of a number 8 year which makes it a 17 or 8 Month for us all which is of course about reward, respect, recognition carries the most powerful energy of planetary events we have seen this year.

How this plays out for you personally seems very easy to me. Pisces (use the vision of what COULD BE) and Virgo, use the reality of what you need to do to make it happen. AND asking for help is much advised with many planets in Libra, folks will treat you nicer than they have these last few months.

WE are in an eclipse window and this whole month is fraught with opportunities to break boundaries and create a wonderful dynamic of healing for ourselves and others. And not the best week for major

Friday September 01, 2006 - missing astrologer day it seems.
WOW, is kind of the word for today. OR is it the world today? Yesterday brought that Moon (emotions) in Fiery Sagittarius .freedom loving and truth centered energy joined with a rush other planets gathering in the sky for a relationship overview of how we are personally doing with our own path.... Since Sagittarius is about what we KNOW is right, what we KNOW is our truth, how about using your personal truth as a vehicle to find a way to love yourself as you are and be a model of this self-love for others." Are you ready to let go of judging yourself by who likes or loves or approves of you?

8:55pm the moon touches PLUTO which many of you may know now is said NOT TO BE a planet but to be a Dwarf planet, even though the activities of this Powerful energy are anything but dwarf. A planet must reign supreme in its own orbit, having "Cleared the neighborhood" of other competing bodies" which PLUTO has not done so this takes it out according to astronomers.

BUT WITH this dwarf not at the Galactic center for the first time in 248 years we are surely feeling this planet in Sagittarius as our own search for OUR truth, and our own meaning in our lives aren't we? So, today with the moon in a late degree of Sagittarius we are in a 3day lunar standstill window. Every 19 years this happens for 3 years running. It happened last year, this year and the next, and is said to happen to make Or help us shift our concept of what reality really is.

Saturday September 02, 2006 - Back to the basics day
As the moon moves v/c today at 12:49am PLUTO the dark god of the underworld is getting ready to move direct on Monday.. Pluto has been retrograde since March 29th the day we had our LAST Eclipse..and some of us have taken a bit of a personal upgrade by what this planet rules. Death, rebirth and eliminations. What has been eliminated, died off or been reborn over these last few months.. Well, the vacation is over and it is time for us Pluto ruled folks to get back to work.

This day has the moon moving into Capricorn at 7;34am and before that the aspect between the moon and Mars is a rough one. So if you are out and about between 12:49am and 7:34am take care and go slowly please. The moon in Capricorn urges us towards duty and obligation and at the same time asks who is pulling our chain and do we indeed have ourselves on a leash or are we truly free?

Mercury the planet of ideas is playing hard ball now and most of us are getting some truly weird and strange ideas, pay attention and realize that outside the box this weekend might be a very creative space to be in.

Sunday September 3, 2006 - THINK outside the box
At 2:21am the planet of ideas (Mercury) makes an opposition to Uranus the energy of change and we are off on a great beginning for a wild day with about 15 major aspects happening... The moon in Capricorn asks that we balance and make plans, which make sense as well as doing what we have committed to do... Finding sacred commitment to something seems to be an important part as this day opens doorways with tons of GREAT aspects...

Uranus tells us that there is no manual or maps for where you are going and you can go as far as you dare to go. JUST by believing it to be so as it is in Pisces Communications and ideas are inspired and communications could either break down or break through. Whatever, do not expect the mundane today.

Monday September 04, 2006 - want to change the world? Begin in the mirror today
The moon in Capricorn moves v/c at 7:24am with a Wonderful aspect with mars who is now wearing the sign and energy of Virgo so you have a lot of willpower today for this v/c as well as some great connections with others for this LABOR DAY:::. 

Mars in Virgo is about action to healing, service, and energy of giving.Who needs something you can easily give? Virgo is about healing and being the healer also and we must heal ourselves to be the vessel to help others heal .. Today's astrological events bring some of these ideas home to many who are trying to ignore them.

11:15am the moon moves to Aquarius and we are given a much needed boost

To move even further out of our comfort zone. Unusual communications, ideas and tremendous opportunities come over the next week if we are open to listening, learning and making the needed changes.

4:20pm Pluto moves direct. Pluto energy is about death, regeneration and rebirth and as Shawn and I discussed today and he informed me that before the death card in the tarot deck is the card of SURRENDER, the hanged man. So, part of this whole process now that Pluto moves direct is to quit fighting ourselves, our path and our future and be open to being the best and what truly we have contracted to be this lifetime. And is there any way to do that but to surrender to higher laws, powers and open ourselves?

The moon in Aquarius today touches on intuition, opposes duty, squares belief and asks that in order to truly open we need A bit less of the I and Me today and a bit more of the us.

With the moon in Aquarius moving v/c or timing out at 2;29am and then into Dreamy Pisces at 11:56 am I doubt that most of us will have a day which we can connect the dots.

Expect some surprises, remember that energy is always stronger before a FULL MOON as the moon and sun are both into opposition and tomorrow LUNAR ECLIPSE is a full moon also. From 1:04pm onwards we are asked to get the vision and do the work as Venus and the moon set up into opposition. THEN

6:46pm the sun makes a wonderful aspect with Jupiter and beliefs can be given a real boost with just a bit of optimism. A great evening for the PSYCHIC SPECTRUM which is opening its doors after a few weeks vacation.

Being open to greater awareness of what is important seems a task which we cannot avoid today with the Full moon solar eclipse at 11:42am today. Uranus the energy of change gets into the act and with all the Pisces energy around it seems that (Illusion or intuition) are wide-awake and awareness of both is highly advised. 

8am The moon touches Uranus , which happens once a month And being open to that brilliance seems challenging but available if you choose?

10:47am faith enters the act as Jupiter creates an aspect of Ease with the moon bringing its presence into this eclipse and making BELIEVING easier for us all with its presence.

11:42am the moon and sun set across from each other at 15 degrees of Virgo for the Sun and 15 Pisces for the moon and we enter the LUNAR ECLIPSE: For the next 2 weeks expect clearer vision of where you really are as well as a more self awareness. Lunar eclipses always rather block the past and allow clearer vision. IN 2 weeks we will have a SOLAR Eclipse and the opposite comes into being. 9:19pm tonight MARS the planet of action enters the relationship sign of Libra and playing nice will come much easier to us all and standing our ground might not be as easy as we might like.

10:25pm the moon and Mercury (emotions) and (ideas) make an opposition and this is not the night for that significant discussion or argument. THIS is not the 2 day window to do much of anything MAJOR. Hang loose and wait for the dust to settle before you make a major purchase, or take risks. (at least until monday the 11th would be my suggestion..

AND yet, i probably close today on a home and get the keys this evening. So, as with all things, we live in a real world and when something is BEGUN before this kind of day, it usually is ok, but this is not the week to BEGIN something new please if you can at all avoid it.

• Kiss for today is being aware of feelings and acting upon them are 2 different things, what difference will this make in 100 years might be what you ask of yourself before jumping into confrontations?

Remember this eclipse is just a part of a whole series of energy asking you to Open, to trust, to believe and to begin creating whatever it is that you desire.

The moon moves v/c or times out from 2:01am until 11:23am when it will enter Aries. This v/c has a rather rough aspect to getting things done. Much work and little reward could be the theme song. And, if that happens, look at what you learn along the way.

2:01 am the moon and Pluto take up opposition and your dreams just could be lists of what you need to do to make yourself happy, or ? Ideas about how to get passion, zip and a new direction

11:23am the moon into Aries encourages us to do whatever we darned well want to do and tell others to take a hike this is furthered by

12:00 pm the moon in Aries wanting us to go for our own goals and Mars the planet of action wearing the sign of Libra which wants us to do for others.

That Moon in Passionate and intense Aries asks us to take a risk today but an aspect at 4:59am asks us to use a bit of care with agreements or purchases today.

4:59am Mercury squares Pluto and what we need to do and what we want to do may not be in accordance, wait until Monday if possible

3:30pm great intuition, and artistic ability comes forward, romance is high as well as a feeling of divine connection

5:44pm GOOD..Nope.GREAT energy for getting the job done as the moon trines (an aspect of ease)  the planet Saturn.. moon is emotions remember and Saturn is accountability or getting the job done

Remember, aspects between planets are their relationships. A trine is an aspect of I LIKE You. A square is like "you need to change this before I like you" An Opposition is like : I see your side, but do not agree with you. The moon in Aries moves v/c at 1:52am with a great aspect of moon (emotions) trining of making a great aspect with Pluto (transformation) Finally the ground begins to settle around us all and things should be smoothing out a bit.

11:30am the moon moves into stable Taurus and it is a great day to relax, to enjoy something sensual, something that feels, tastes and is good in your life, enjoy the air, the water, the sky, and realize how lucky we all are.

9:31pm a great aspect between that Taurus moon and Venus the planet of love creates a romantic evening and a good night if you have to have that MAJOR discussion expect that now it may be easier to say what you need to say than it has been over the last few days.

I try never to be political but on this evening I would like to remind you of another part of the Eclipse. The energy of Pisces is the reality that we are all ONE and VIRGO is the work that needs to be done to heal the past. With wounds still being opened and poked at, how can we heal? Transformation is here today on this anniversary for our country. Whatever your beliefs we learn from tragedy and become so much more than we are through empathy and caring for others. Lets your thoughts today flow into what you can do to be a hero and how best to help the world and what concrete action you can take to make things better for yourself and others.

The moon continues her voyage in Taurus asking for peace, joy, and love to have it MY WAY: until 1:58pm then moves v/c or times out. with a sigh for exactly 1 minute before it moves into Gemini at 1:59pm. What does this mean? Well that rigid and rather inflexible want it my way stuff moves into a lighter and easier energy. Top this off with the fact that Mercury gets out of VIRGO (FINALLY) and we now just have 6 planets in Virgo instead of 7  (earth energy wants to build so we are all being pushed right now)

1:58pm Mercury into Libra (AIR) will bring more balanced communication and things moving Much easier for us all. Now we have a bit of balance coming into the world and others will probably be a bit easier on your. AND maybe just maybe? You can be a bit easier on them also?

4:15am the moon in Gemini wanting us to be light and happy makes a square and we have our LAST QUARTER stage of the moon challenging us to let go of that final little bit of STUFF before that new moon on the 22nd. When we will need space to BRING GOOD THINGS INTO our lives.

At 9am the moon in Gemini moves v/c or times out until 7:53pm tonight and we are in for a day which challenges our perception of what is truth and if it is not Your truth, and not in accordance with you and who you are? DO you really need it in your life? Do you have folks who love, honor and respect you around you or folks who nag, and find fault? A bit of each is a nice thing truly but too much of any one thing can be poison to our souls.  Yes, we do need folks to move our Fannies when we are not moving and those same folks have to occasionally pat us on the back in order for them to be truly on our side.

The moon in Cancer gets challenged until around 6:45pm tonight again.  What are squares? These aspects are planets demanding of each other that they get our of their own fixed or rigid modes and open to other options. I like what David Pond (my own astrologer) says.  Planets create these aspects like bad weather, not to keep us in but rather we need to know about them so that we dress accordingly. So, dressing with a sense of honor, dignity and SILENCE about how you are feeling might be good today. TLC is much needed as well as breathing deeply.

Ray Six: Devotion and Idealism

The moon and the sun touch at 29 degrees of VIRGO at 4:45am for a NEW moon Solar eclipse energy which can assist us in so many things if we are willing.Today is also the VERNAL OR FALL Equinox as the sun in the sky enters the sign of Libra at 9:04pm tonight so this is a very busy day.

Along with that, we have American Indian Day and we begin tomorrow Rosh Hashana.. So, we are really in a sacred and holy energy today.

4:45am at the Eclipse The moon moved v/c or times out (things do not go as expected during v/c) but we just get to use that new moon energy with NO rough aspects. So it should be a great day if you stay loose.

6:06am the moon moves to Libra and relationship issues and balance seems much more important than the struggle which many of us have been having the last week. The gift of today is that others should be much more supportive and maybe you will be willing to let them know what it is that you really need?

9:04pm the sun moves to Libra for a month and we enter the time of the dark, a time when days grow shorter and nights longer and we are at a time when letting go is much easier.

Sunday September 24, 2006 - DON"T ROCK THE BOAT BABY:::
With each weekend comes opportunities to shift the next week and this weekend is no exception. We have our annual Jupiter (beliefs) square Neptune (intuition) today at 1:33pm and this one sometimes creates a couple of days of real confusion for folks. It happens each year, but this is the first year in 12 years that it has happened in SCORPIO. Scorpio is the 8th sign of the zodiac, fixed water and deep energy about looking, searching and even deep sea diving within our own consciousness in order to create new understandings and healing of self. This day says, "Yes this is possible, and yet, there is also higher power at work and some questions are best left to be answered for 48 hours".
Create NO MAJOR upheavals today please. Walk softly and smile a great deal if possible knowing that this is NOT the best day to rock the boat.

At 7;11am the moon moves from Libra and remains v/c or timed out until 6;54 pm tonight when it will enter Scorpio land

1:33pm Jupiter (belief in Scorpio) Squares (A rough aspect demanding we find a way out of a circumstance that we cannot see a way out of) Neptune (Illusion or intuition) in Aquarius and we are challenged to move beyond our own limiting fears and Beliefs to realize that there are larger forces than ourselves at work on the planet and even within our own lives.

Monday September 25, 2006 Passion & Practicality merge
The moon in Scorpio plays pretty well with the other planets today encouraging us to change and transformation and all that happy stuff.

11:07am Venus (love) wearing the sign of Virgo and wanting perfection and Healing makes a rough aspect with Pluto (transformation) who wants the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. FIRE and earth.what wins today? Passion or practicality is the question? For me; personally, the greatest deception is me wanting something so badly that I ignore the practical aspect? How about you? As you can see there is LOTS of fire in my chart.

Tuesday September 26, 2006 - Stick to your stuff, and ignore their "STUFF"
The moon in Scorpio gets a bit more challenge from other planets today. Since the moon is our emotional energy when we have it in Scorpio for 2 or 3 days per month we get a chance to kind of continually take our own internal temperature. Since others may be doing the same, this is not usually the best time to ask for help or assistance, rather a great time to do your own stuff and let folks do their stuff.

I begin a new astrology class in Lynwood tonight and we have some great energy for learning and having some fun. Sagittarius energy is ruled by optimism, truth and fiery passionate energy for an in your life and today we have this and more future paced energy.
