June 2009 Astrological overview

June 2009 is the 6th month of a number 11 year which means that we are all numerology wise getting to experience a 17 or 8 month ..In numerology the numbers run 1 through 9, meaning that we begin anew at 1 and Make endings at 9. * 8 * is the number of reward, respect and recognition and is the number when we are not getting our needs met that PROPELLS us into the 9 and making endings often before the number 9 happens for us.
With Saturn (accountability, obligations and duty) having moved forward on May 16th this planet begins to pick up speed and we will feel much more pushed as the summer solstice approaches to get our lives pared down and move into workable conditions in our lives.
Virgo which is an earth (building) sign says, is this ecologically sound and secure? and Saturn says,” if not, we will make it so” which means that you are going to have some really great ideas about business and personal plans this month as well as knowing what has outlived its usefulness and what it is time to eliminate.
Haven’t you had the urge for a garage sale, to clean closets, and to just begin to really let the past go this last 30 days? IF not, trust me it is coming for sure soon. Look at your life and use that FULL MOON on the 7th with the Sun Gemini and the moon in Sagittarius to get new ideas about paring down in order to free up your time and energy. Full moon to new moons are times to eliminate, pare down, get rid of and release all which is not working for you in body, mind and spirit if you are willing.
Of course we are still dealing with Saturn (accountability) and Uranus (change) making oppositions to each other for the next year. The stress over the last few months has been whether to stay or go, with a great deal of uncertainty added. You will watch much of this smoothes out over this next month or 2 and…
We begin the month with Neptune (Intuition) Chiron (the wounded healer) and Pluto (transformation) in retrograde or apparent backwards motions attempting to get us to retrace our tracks to where we may have gone astray? OR rethink, and reconfigure, and RECONNECT to our purpose, destiny, and to others on the same path as ourselves in order to heal and believe and transform.
On June 15th Jupiter the planet of faith and trust also begins its backwards motion. When outer planets move backwards we often get some real shifts in Government, big business and for some of us it can actually be a time when pressures feel much less.
July 1st Uranus the planet of change will also move backwards which means all the outer planets will be kind of taking a vacation from pushing us forward quite so strongly. But you will be able to make some wonderful personal and relationship gains this month if you will just look at what is NOT working and LET go and begin to make new connections.
The outer planets seem to affect the world finances, business and banking industry more than the personal planets like Mercury, Mars, and Venus. So, I am interested to see the RISE in housing prices and maybe some more lowering of interest rates improving conditions greatly for many of us. If you must sell a home now, get busy and list it asap. I see some real shifts back again at the end of the year as we enter Fall. GO for the gusto right now and know that by fall many things will have shifted and nothing more will happen than any of us can handle.
June 1st Mars the planet of action moves out of the Fiery energy of Aries and slows us down to create new ideas and plans as it enters the earthy rich and grounded sign of Taurus.
June 6th Venus the planet of love and beauty moves out of Aries and into Taurus also, and some of that PUSH to have and be more eases up. Romantic matters should go good for many people who are willing to get out and make new connections this month. You know it is a MASTER RELATIONSHIP 11 year, right? And Taurus is the most fertile of the planting new projects signs and so this is a wonderful relationship month.
On the 15th Mercury (ideas) finally is out of the retrograde shadow and back into the Sign of Gemini and it may feel that the jury is coming in with the verdict and now it is time to make that next step.
The sun in the intellectually stimulating and social sign of Gemini until the Summer Solstice on the 20th encourages connections and social contacts and assists us all to be more open to new ideas
After the 20th with the Sun in Cancer and the Summer Solstice we move into a more fertile and much more grounded energy and are further able to connect to our own needs and nurture ourselves so that we can accomplish our next step on our path. This will be the longest day of the year and this is the celebration of the coming of the light. The Summer solstice is when we invoke protection, strength, energy and clear sight with our wishes and prayers and receive all of the above.
The new moon each month is a seed planting time and the seeds we are planting on the 22nd of June with a new moon at 2 Degrees of Cancer could give you the greatest ideas of your life if you are open to new thoughts and trust your inner knowing.. Psychic and intuitive energy are being upgraded and this new moon opens 2 wild and wonderful weeks of dreams and visions and some great energy.
