Monthly Astrology Report
Happy Birthday Libra and Scorpio and
welcome to Fall 2007!
We now move into Fall and to assist you in your processes use the colors of blues and pinks and pastels and Opals or pink tourmaline with the sun in Libra until the 23rd and then, when the Sun enters Scorpio switch to the dramatic, red, black, cobalt blue colors and stones of a more colorful nature like agates, and sapphires to assist you in the processes of inner balance which are available from the universe. I always advise that for fall we bring in a great deal of black tourmaline, and obsidian to help us create sacred and safe space.
With so many earth changes in place right now, Use the energy of nature this month and find herbs, and stones which feel good to you and use them to create a magical energy around and within yourself.
The 1st of September brought a healing Earth energy to us with its entry of Saturn the planet of Accountability into the earth sign of Virgo for 2 and ½ years. Earth energy came in strongly for the planet with those 2 eclipses last month also. We also encountered a real upgrade in intuition and awareness of unseen energy with Pisces being very strongly illuminated within the same eclipses.
So, Watch your dreams, keep a journal and realize you are downloading some wonderful stuff right now. Believe (find the details) and do what you need to do has been added to that magical just BELIEVE and it will happen energy. As planets in Earth signs demand that we do the work involved.
Before you turn your nose up at that work word. What would your life feel like if you could not WAIT to get to work, if you eagerly wanted to keep working and not go home, if the work you were doing were something that touched your soul and heart?
This month is asking us to at least be willing to be open to these ideas and begin anew. The sign of the scales is the symbol for Libra and this month the scales Of balance are a great tool for working with that powerful mercury retrograde in Scorpio. Scorpio is death, endings, rebirth, intimacy and a fixed water sign and this 3rd mercury retrograde this year in a Water (emotions) sign gives us the ability to use the energy of the Tarot card Death. Death in the tarot represents, endings, and rebirth and we have ample opportunity this month to utilize the magic and create divine intention and MAKE IT happen if we can only let go of the past.
On the 11th Mercury begins to move backwards at 8 degrees of Scorpio and on the 23rd will back into the relationship sign of Libra. Mercury will move direct November 1st at 23 degrees of Libra. So we all will be continuing with some of that Venus (relationships) retrograde as we are still evaluating who is playing on our team and who maybe needs to be benched in our lives. This goes for work, as well as personal relationships as we really begin to enter shifts and changes getting us ready for January 2008 to be a number 1 year of new beginnings for the whole planet.
Mercury retrograde always opens doorways into the unconscious mind and asks that we look deeply within ourselves. And this one is much more powerful than normal. Please Do not rush madly into getting rid of others in your life or making major changes in your outer world during this time, rather think, meditate, ponder and watch the magical energy within you grow.
Mercury retrograde is not the best time for marriages, (remarriage is wonderful) or new ventures, (redo is super) but this Mercury retrograde surely does carry the seeds for some of the most powerful inner work I have ever seen. Mercury retrograde can be a good thing if used properly. Slow down and Use your head or use your feet as my Grandmother would say. Like the flowers, some things must die and go away in order for others to come to us and The mercury retrograde in Scorpio says we must look at what no longer works in our lives and be willing to cut it away next month.
On October 7th Venus the planet of love moves into Virgo for the 2nd time this year and on the 10th we complete the cycle of Venus retrograde as the planet again is back at where it began last August. Now we have many more details than we did 2 months ago and probably have some very different ideas about what we must have and perhaps even what we like has changed for some of us.
The Dark of the moon is a magical energy this month on the 8th and 9th and carries that Flavor of Virgo into the Libra energy. Saying yes we can balance and that there are also many details and healings that can be done if we are willing to make the connections between the past and the future and let go of the past.
The October New moon on the 10th Carries the Sun (the light and the future) in Libra and the moon (emotions and the past) both in the sign of Libra. Asking us to bring balance and begin to really embrace the meaning of togetherness as people upon the planet not just as individuals. New moons are time of GROWTH and a time when things happen more easily normally. But on October 11th Mercury begins to move backwards (aka Mercury retrograde) So things begun during this new moon period will more than likely go back to the drawing table for some redesign over the next month.
On the 23rd the sun moves from the air sign of Libra into the fixed water energy of Scorpio and again we are asked to move deeper into our unconscious mind and be Willing to open to listening to intuition.
As if to say, HAH, you are not going to get away from this relationship stuff yet, Mercury the planet of ideas on the 23rd moves into Libra and the theme of others vs. self is very strong right now. OUR is it? Our ideas of what others should be vs. their ideas of what they should be? Think carefully before using the relationship eraser right now. Next month will be much more in alignment with releasing things and people.
And speaking of Release, the full moon October 25th is a time of Letting go and releasing until the next new moon on the 9th of November. With the sun in Scorpio we are dealing with our own emotional responses to others and the Moon today in the sign of Taurus asks that we balance that with some practical energy for the next 2 weeks and slow down a bit to gently and easily let go of only that which we will not want later down the road.
Neptune the planet of dreams, visions, mysticism, illusion, illumination, mystery, and total confusion moves direct (after being retrograde since May) on Halloween night at 19 degrees of Aquarius bringing an energy of deeper connection to some new ideas of ways to create a life in alignment with your visions. Life will surely begin to speed up by this time and maybe we will have released some of the clutter in our lives also by now.
